We were cleaning our rig the other day and when opening the the bin where the black and grey water vaLVES are, I was surprised to see the grey water curved pipe section dangling free of the pipe. How did that come free?

I tried reconnecting it but couldn’t get it to stay in place. Are these pipes secured simply by the two clamps? this appears to be pvc pipe, which I thought should have been glued.
Best way to fix ?

I would think it shook loose on your last journey after you dumped. if there's hose clamps and a rubber thingy it should be able to be reconnected unless it's actually broken. sometimes a picture helps but should be ok repair. I have a tough time figuring out how to post a pic and forget how I did it by the next time, but it does help. safe travels

Often used gasket and clamps - usually don't use glues. Looks like the downstream end needs some support to manage the weight of the fittings if you can mate the 2 parts back together again. Otherwise - may need to extend the length of the upstream line (there are longer gaskets). The key is get the weight / force of the dumping action off that connection and protect from road bumps, etc.

The rubber connection is a standard find at any of the big box stores i.e. lowes, home depot. To me there are a few different fixes that you may look into and they all center around making the pipe secure. You could make a brace to put under the pipe to hold it up to correct height. Or attach a hanger to the ceiling above the pipe to help hold it up. The third would be to get a longer rubber coupler that will allow two clamps on each end. To me trying to lengthen the pipe is the harder of the group. I think you would have to cut some off the pipe to add a coupler then the additional length of pipe.

Good Luck which ever way you go

No doubt it’s not a glued connection due to movement and flex when traveling. I would avoid going that route. The other suggestions of support and longer rubber coupler seem best to me.
