Good RV service in Lansing, MI? 2023 View 24V

Greetings! 1st time poster.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good RV service shop in the Lansing, MI area? We can drive as far as Jackson... need to keep it under 1 hour travel from Lansing.

So far it looks like the local Winnie dealer has a very bad rep: Gilettes Interstate RV,

P&K and Price Right have positive reviews... but will they do OK with Winnebago parts?

I'll be grateful to anyone that can share their service experience.

How about Bish's RV in Coldwater. I know it's a bit further than Jackson, but I think it has a good reputation.

I lived in Haslett and Okemos (and even Spring Arbor) 45+ years ago. But I was too young and broke to own an RV back then. So, I don't have any personal experience to share.

I see you live in South East Michigan so that makes a difference. And you know that Mercedes will service your View's chassis. Winnebago is likely to send you to the Winnebago dealer in Lansing. What about Ann Arbor, that can't be much further away than Lansing?

Heck, Austin, MI is only 75 miles away from Elkhart, IN and that is the RV repair and manufacturing meca of the entire country. If you can't get everything on an RV fixed in the Elkhart area I'd be very surprised.

Maybe more info on what type service?
I look at them as chassis or RV and do the search for different type service places depending on what is needed!
If I needed an oil change or tires, I would never take it to an Rv place but if I wanted a new frig I would never take it to "tire town"!

Hey thanks @creativepart, I'll checkout Bish's RV. An hour drive is further than I'd like but maybe that's what we have to do.


@Morich yep makes sense. I'm mostly in need of coach service, so looking for an RV service shop. For our last chassis service we used Detroit Sprinter Center (Livonia) and they were great.


Still looking! So if anyone knows a good RV service shop in the Lansing area please share.
