Hope I'm doing this in the right way and place. We take delivery from General RV, in a few days, a new to us 2021 Winnebago 36Z. We were originally looking at diesel pushers and decided on this 36Z after researching and comparing maintenance and ownership costs. We're sacrificing tow capacity, but gaining so much in other areas. The coach has the newer Godzilla V8, which is apparently much better than the older Triton V10's. We had a 38' Bounder a few years ago, that had the V10 with a banks kit and it performed well enough. Our first trip is booked for Key West Camping in April. We'll likely do some closer trips before then to get a feel forcthe coach. Anyhow, see ya'll around here in the forum. Seems like a pretty friendly group.

Welcome! 2021 was the first year for the Ford Godzilla V8 which is what we have in our 2021 Vista. It has been a great engine so far for us but there were a few growing pains. Be sure that the recalls have been installed for the following items:
1) Spark plug wires. Certain units of that timeframe had defective wires that were sensitive to heat that caused them to break down and lose spark.
2) Air flow. Possibly related to the plug wires but they enlarge an area in the air shield around the engine to allow better airflow around the plug wires.
3) Service AdvanceTrac engine warning issues. It's best to search the forums for this problem because there are a lot of threads about it and it took Ford a long time to really solve the problem.
4) Coolant hose connections for the heater. Winnebago reversed the connections at the engine for the coolant hoses going to the heater. This caused poor performance of the air conditioning system.
5) Differential was not properly filled with lubricant on some units.
6) I can't exactly remember the details on this one but the bolts or brackets for the rear sway bar were improperly installed or torqued.
7) There are supposed to be large cone shaped rubber bumper pads on the front axles between the axle and the frame. Some people report that those pads have fallen off.

Good luck and enjoy your new RV!

We have a 2021 Adventurer 30T. We found that replacing the original stock shocks with Koni EVOs tangibly and audibly improved ride quality.

Another thing to look carefully for on 2021 Adventurers.. it may apply to your rig, and if it does, you could drop some metal debris as you drive, or even drive over it. Winnebago has issued an advisory on it, but I think they still haven't developed the procedures a dealership should follow.

The front engine panel that you unlock to check fluids is held in place by two large metal assemblies and four standoffs, small metal z angles.

These in turn are glued to the front panel with black epoxy.

In some cases, the epoxy breaks, releasing the standoffs or the larger assemblies.

I discovered this when the left assembly fell to the ground when I opened the panel to check fluids. All the standoff z angles had already fallen off. The last thing holding the panel was the right assembly, and it was loose

Winnebago customer support was most cooperative. Even though the official technical bulletin was still stuck in limbo, they sent me all the parts, plenty of epoxy, and also approved a local dealership to perform the service at no cost to me.
