Hi everyone

My wife and I have a 2104 Vista and I want to to turn on the heat a little. We have a digital thermostat. Could someone possibly help please?

Thank you

Do you have the Operations Manual? If not it is available from the Winnebago website. I haven't looked yet, but feel confident that it will tell you how to operate the Thermostat and the heater.

PS. Unless you're posting from 85 years in the future, I assume you have a 2014 Vista and not a 2104 Vista. Though it would be fun to know how high you can fly in the 2104 model.

Here's a copy of the instructions from your Operator's Manual:

Have generator or shore power running; slide to electric if you have A/C unit that also heats and that will heat to about 40 degrees above ambient temp. Just used mine for the first time and got to 13 degrees outside and it kept inside above 55 degrees until about 3 am then had to switch to propane.

Just slide selector to gas and make sure propane is turned on at tank. Check to see if stove lights. If yes-has valve is open and available for furnance

Heater control

Practice. Mode switched to electric heat will automatically revert to LP gas furnace at certain temperature BUT ALSO if the room setting is several degrees greater than actual temperature inside coach. I still forget! IF you are concerned about imitating gas heat, look at room temperature, then set desired temp just a few degrees greater. Get to that temperature, then readjust warmer.

If ambient temperature range is excessive, or atmosphere too cold for heat pump; regardless of mode setting the control panel will default to gas. When cold temperature are expected, I purge gas by lighting gas burner for several seconds to assure the furnace line will purge on limited attempt to ignite cycle.
