Furnace and Heat Pump Tripping 12V Breaker on 2005 Journey 36G

Hey all
2005 Journey 36G. Furnace started tripping the 12v breaker, which takes out the thermostat. Tried running heat on heat pump. Heat pump kicks on, but after a few seconds, 12v breaker trips. Opened up furnace access and turned, made sure fan motor was free and it rotated. Turned off the power switch, and heat pump workder for a bit, then tripped 12v breaker again. Any ideas what the interconnect may be? I'm leaning towards the furnace control board because it has to contain a relay or something that decides furnace or heat pump. Thanks

Not sure if this will help, but if you are not aware it may. The heat pump function has to be within 5 degrees of the room temperature for it to work. If you set it for more then the propane furnace kicks in which in turn might trip the 12v breaker. Now I know that does not answer the 12v issue just maybe something to look at.

Thanks! I knew they worked together and that's why I'm leaning towards the control board. I completely removed the thermostat from the loop yet the breaker won't reset. Still have more work to do

Test the current that is tripping the breaker, the breaker might have failed!

Which 12 breaker are we talking about? The one on the furnace? Or the round button type that some older motorhomes have?
