On 2 occasions I have had the gas pump nozzle get stuck in my Sightseer fuel filler neck. It took a LOT of twisting and yanking to free it though I don't know exactly how it did get free. Is this a problem only in California with the vapor type nozzle or have others had it too?

If it is tha same as my experience---

There is a little lip ring around the end of the nozzel. It catches on the lip of the filler tube and because of the angle, you can not center the nozzel and pull it out. Idea is that this prevents the nozzel from falling out on it's own.

We are seeing fewer and fewer ringed nozzels and the smoooth ones do not present a problem.

I have the same problem. It has hapened in the past but it was easily disloged, this last trip the last three refuel stops it was realy stuck in there; taking several minutes to dislodge by turning & pulling. I was nearly at the point to call a service to take care of it. I'm waiting for the wheather to break to take a look at it. What was your fix?

Same problem on my Sighseer 30B. Some nozzles go in and out easy, but most don't. I've just learned to stick the nozzle only as far in as needed to get it working. The smooth end nozzles with the most "bend" in them work best.

INFO: I contacted Winnebago about the Fuel fill nozzle getting stuck. Their reply is that there is a kit available that fastens on the outside of the nozzle receiver of the coach. It extends the reciver about 1/4 ". I requested one & Winnebago sent the kit free of charge. The kit has been installed, but not tested yet.

Haven't had it happen on my 2005 Sightseer but will certainly use care when refueling.

I have had it happen at a Husky station in Canada where I couldn't get the nozzle in and had to go else where for fuel.
