Fresh as new snow

Greetings everyone! My wife Cathy and I have finally entered retirement and as a result jumped into the ranks of RV-ing. Going slow to determine if this is what we want to do but...it is looking good so far. We purchased a 2001 Winnie Journey 38' DL with 30K miles on her and are getting it ready for the road. The usual stuff like sampling all of the fluids and sending to the lab for analysis (thought I was retired from this sort of stuff).
The coach belonged to a little old lady and is was hiding out in her barn on a beautiful horse ranch in Ocala, Florida. Everything seems to be in order so far. A little updating and maintenance (which I am doing myself) and we should be go to go. Drove it home from Florida (560 miles) to New Orleans (where we live) and everything was good! Joined a few organizations such as Good Sam, obtained a good roadside assistance program and we will see how it goes. I will be needing everyones expertise as we go along, so I wanted to greet everyone. Stay safe and howdy!

One recommendation I would throw on the table is to check the date codes on the tires, and enjoy your travels.

You know they changed the batteries and the tires in 2019. Just need to update the electronics and clean it up and get a current exterior wrap and I should be good.

Hi Ed and Cathy,
I think we all dream of that "barn find" and you actually did it!
I believe we would all be curious as to where you get the new decorative wrap, and pictures of the results.
