TranSynd is a much better fluid to use than Dextron. It is much better at dissipating heat in the tranny. Lots of good articles on it in this forum.
You need to go thru 2 cycles of filling with TranSynd before you can go to the longer change cycles (48 mos for the fluid and 36 months for the filters for the 3000 series transmission with 100% TranSynd).
So, yes, use TranSynd (it's expensive!) and change it one more time at the normal Dextron change interval -- then go to the longer intervals.
