So I've been resealing and doing maintenance to the rig after 10,000 miles. I checked the roof back in Arizona (Feb) and all was good. I got up there again about a week ago (humid Ontario) and almost had a heart attack, looks all lumpy and de-laminated. Did some research and saw they can do this depending on weather conditions. I'd almost say they cut the roof skin a bit too wide? Perhaps the ones that pop out and tear off were cut too narrow?

I assume these fiberglass roofs are being cut by hand at the factory.

I've been looking and see no evidence of any leaks

I would assume an assembly line process would never involve a one-piece, hand-cut fiberglass roof. I suspect, instead they receive the material in roll form, already the width of their MH roof design.

The roof has a 10 year warranty, and its apparently just the fiberglass skin they cover which means (to me) they make it in house

Call Winnebago customer service and ask, then we'll both know.

I'll save us both some time, here's how the call would go. "Is it leaking sir" No. "Has the roof deteriorated" No. Has the roof lifted along the sidewall radius due to not being maintained" No.

Click.

I had one side come loose a couple years ago in heavy wind; luckily it didn't tear off. When repairing it, I noticed that it wasn't actually "glued" down, just attached at the front, rear, and sides. I tried to get some sealant underneath before re-doing the side joint, but couldn't do much. In hot weather, mine will expand and lift up in a long "bubble" or two; in cold weather, it shrinks and flattens back out.
