I need to drop my tank to fix the generator fuel line (rodent chewed). I'm trying to figure out how to drop the tank. I watched videos on youtube but most were workhorse chasis and it looked WAY easier.
I have some nuts on the bottom of the tank - but they don't look like Id be able to drop the tank - maybe just shift it forward / back?
I think the brackets that bolt to the frame are what I need to remove? If so it's a pain since one of the brackets has the rear leveling springs welded to it... If I start to unbolt stuff - I'm assuming (hoping) there is enough slack for hoses/wires on top of the tank to be able to drop it maybe 6-12" and then fix the line and then jack it back into position?
