Has anyone experienced their driver side power window being slow? We have a 2006 Adventurer 38T and the window abysmally slow going up. We had a dealer look at it while taking care of other warranty issues, and all they did was put some lubricate on the glass??? When I went to wash the RV, I could see the lubricant on the glass and washed it off as it looked awful. I think the motor is shot in my opinion but wanted to know if anyone has experienced and resolved a similar issue.

Thanks,
Kyle

Kyle241,
Mine is slow too. I sprayed the window track with silicon, just helps with water sheading, etc. Because of this, I really don't feel it's the motor, it might be the gearing Bago used? I'm thinking after reading other posts maybe someone/business on here has a motor and gearing that uses less amps and can increase the speed by 25%

Ditto. Mine is getting better but is still slow.
I've talked with other owners and it seems to be common.

I only open it at slow speeds down the coast or on country roads to get some fresh air.

Mine was slow but I sprayed the track with silicone and that freed it up to what I would call almost normal speed. I have done the same thing with the slider windows because some of them were stiff too and it helped them as well.

My drivers window is slow also. I also sprayed the channels with silicone spray. It helped a little. It appears to me the motor is under powered.

Thanks everyone for the advice/responses. While it sounds like everyone lives with it, I find it poor that they can't get a window to move faster when you shell out the dollars one does. I love Winnie's but you would think on such complex vehicles, a power window would be a cinch. I agree I don't us it much but when I do, it's frustrating that it takes so long to down or up (down is better). I'll keep on asking the dealer/manufacturer to address it and see where it goes. If there is any progess, I'll post it.

Thanks again.
Kyle
