Good day All,

I'm looking towards the Window Bypass Dream Dinette for my Dinette Build and wonder if anyone has modified one of these to work with a short table.

As you may know the 2106 never came with a dinette due to the slide being shallow (32"). I have built a custom Dinette 32 3/4 deep with a 30 7/8" table (to clear window and blind) as the table top is above the base of the window.

The 22" Window Bypass Dream Dinette looks to be a good choice to get away from two table legs to support the table top. The shortest unit Cass Hudson makes for the Dream Dinette is for use with a 36" Tabletop Length.

Any engineers out there with thoughts on how you would go about it. My thought is to maybe shorten the long vertical leg from the bottom and make that long leg a little steeper so it walks back to accommodate a 30" Table without effecting the starting

placement of the roller assembly Also pushing back the track that the glide block slides in. Not sure if this alteration would effect the required gas strut length.

Thoughts, Ideas please

If I'm understanding your problem correctly, a simple solution would be to put a spacer behind the vertical leg of the mounting mechanism, to place it further away from the wall, and thus clear the window when it's raised. The tabletop depth might need to be trimmed by the depth of the spacer.

Need to go the other way. All measurements above except the Max Measurement are the OEM scaled specs.

The extended length needs to be reduced down to 33. The lowered height can be no higher than 13 1/4"

First off the window height of the 2106 is at 19 3/4" so the wall bracket will have to be shortened and the top portion of the vertical mobile slide will have will have to increase from 6" (see first post) to be somewhere between 9 - 9 3/4" for an overall height of between 16 - 16 3/4". So starting with either the 22" or 25.5" unit should work, requiring modification to all pieces if it will work. It's tight

Contacted Customer Support and the Emailed out to me what they had.

No supportive Structure in the exterior wall of the slide. Guess the Foam and the Fibergass is all that supports the window.

That's shocking. The window is not small, nor light.

I'd run a stud finder on the wall to double check.

The wall in my 2022 2108FBS definitely has some metal behind it - I've felt the bite of the screws when removing the OEM wall storage unit and doing my own work there. I should ask winnebago for a diagram...

I would guess the 2108 may have aluminum sidewall structure in the slide. The 2106 has structure in the perimeter of the slide room front, back and a few pieces across the roof that's it.
