So we ate an “alligator” (tire piece) on the road last week and ripped out the exhaust including the catalytic converter and the DPF. Had it towed 70 miles to MB/Sprinter dealer in Franklin, TN. During installation of the new parts, they noticed the DPF bracket on the vehicle side (transmission?) was bent and will not allow the exhaust assembly to line up with the turbo charger properly. The tech said the bolt holes between the DPF bracket and the vehicle side bracket are about ¾ of an inch off. They also stated that they can’t find a part number for said bracket in the Sprinter parts manual. They might try to heat the bracket and bend it back in place, but it’s a pretty hefty bracket. Anyone have one of these brackets laying around? LOL! Or maybe a part number. Thanks for any advice and ideas. Larry 2014 Reyo P.
