Hi we are the Swinks in Locust, NC. We just purchased a Micro Minnie 2108DS. We are downsizing from a 30ish foot Passport to the Minnie and are excited about learning all things Winnie!

Welcome!

We pass through Locust on a fairly regular basis on our way to and from CLT. My bride has to go to a clinic up there every 6-8 weeks. Sometimes we have the MH other times we fly under the radar.

We live in the Sandhills right next to Fort Bragg.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will enjoy your camper. I have had mine since 2018 and put over 10,000 miles on it. I will be heading to the OBX in May for a couple of weeks of fishing and visiting friends.

Safe travels. Dave

So sorry she is having medical issues, prayers for her recovery. The Local Room is a great restaurant when you pass through. I'd be interested in some good campgrounds your way. My husband loves the 82nd museum.

The medical issues are long term back issues from 34 years as a Flight Attendant. She got started with Carolina Spine in CLT while she was still flying and prefers to stay with them.

Four Oaks RV resort is good, then the Jordan Lake SRA campgrounds are about 40 minutes north of us. We literally live next to Fort Bragg. Their property surrounds our family properties on three sides.

We have several favorite campgrounds. Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Fancy Gap KOA, Pigeon Forge KOA and 4 Paws Kingdom in East Rutherfordton (adults and dogs only). Currently we only do a week or so out at a time. Hopefully we can start longer trips this year.
