Hi All,
I have decided to dump the front curtains and install pull down shades on both the side windows for the driver and the passenger as well as the windshield. I found that the 2021 Sunstar now has these shades as standard equipment so I am wondering what is involved in making the change. If the A pillars are the same between the 2017 and the 2021, then purchasing new A pillar covers for a 2021 model will make the transition easier due to the small edge that they have for the front shade to rest on as it goes up and down. I also saw a video of a 2021 that shows that both side window shades have a small piece of vinyl that is used to cover a portion of the glass at the front of both side windows where the shade does not cover when it is in the down position. These can be manual or electric, but I am leaning towards electric for the windshield. Has anybody made this change, and if so, how did you do it?
I have a 2017 Winnebago Sunstar LX 35F.
