Hello! I recently purchased a 1988 itasca class A motorhome. Since its purchase in December it’s had its engine rebuilt, new fuel pump, new transmission, new radiator, and another new fuel pump. Currently it’s not receiving any power at the dash board and we found a cut line that looks to be attached to a ground on the dash near the doghouse and another line that looks like it should go into the ignition. We can’t seem to find the other end that would go into the battery to connect to power. I was hoping that someone on here would know where to look to help! I’ve attached pictures of the cut line and where we can see that it’s attached. Thank you so much if you can help!

Your pics didn't come thru, but just a suggestion. Use a wire with alligator clips or something similar, and carefully briefly jump 12v to the wire in question. If the dash lights up, you'll know you're chasing the right circuit. There are probably a couple of locations you could pick up Key ON power.

When dealing with things I know nothing about, I first start with looking for information.
A big first thought is to find out if a wire is battery or ground! There are lots of things that can be damaged by power put in the wrong place and it sure takes a lot of fuses to just go for broke on guessing!

One of the best places to look for info on the older models is the local library. One thing going in your favor there is that the current issues are often a bit dated!
You may get the help you need for free but if not finding it there, I move to looking online for folks who sell the old manuals.
If you have been buying that many parts, the cost of info will be very cheap!
