I am reaching out to fellow owners for some customer service help. I am the owner of a 2023 Vista NPF which is shown on this website main page. This is our second new purchase thru Winnebago. We have upgraded suspension and multiple other items on this unit to provide us with enjoyable coach to travel with.
Unfortunately we have had multiple issues with items not working in this coach. The unit has been at a dealer for 2 months last fall with electrical issues pertaining to main panel not being operational. The issue persisted and has now been at a dealership since April 15th 2025. We have cancelled a number of planned trips awaiting the unit being repaired.
Has anyone had any better experiences as both the dealer and I are having no response from Winnebago. We are not impressed as we always believed Winnebago was the top of line in a motorhome purchase.

Here’s the lesson to be learned, unfortunately for you, the hard way. The vast majority of us will never allow a RV dealer take in our RV for service of any kind.

What you are experiencing is, again unfortunately, the common experience most dealers provide.

Your problem exists solely with the dealer and not with Winnebago.

If you can get your RV back you’ll likely found they haven’t done much if any work on solving your problems. Most of us gave up on dealer service within the first year of ownership. The best course of action is to find a really good and experienced independent repair shop or independent RV mobile tech to get things fixed in days not weeks or months.

Since you have a NPF model Vista and are seeing “main panel” issues I’d guess you are having problems with the Lithionics battery and Xantrax or Go Power electrical system. Is that an accurate guess? If so let us know more details and we’ll try to direct you to some better help.

Whoa!

I looked back at your previous posts and I see that I advised you to take the RV to a Winnebago dealer. YIKES.

So sorry for that bad advice.

Your problem is pretty unique and I’d guess your dealer doesn’t have a clue about the issue or how to fix it. So they keep telling you stories about waiting for Winnebago to resolve the issue.

If it was me I would work with the Winnebago Connect software people directly. Or I’d take the RV to the factory in Forest City, Iowa. But I’d never trust a dealer to fix this issue.

I realize you’re in Canada and it’s 950 mi to the factory. All I can say is that I took my motorhome to the factory from South Texas 1400 mi one way and it was worth the trip to get all my issues corrected in 2-days.

We are experiencing very poor customer service from Winnebago as well. Our 2023 Voyage has spent more time at the dealership than on the road. We are in a conversation now because the main slide out leaks like a sieve during to poor workmanship.

Thanks for the reply. The dealer has ben working thru all those suggestions with winnebago with no results. Multiple parts have been swapped but it is still dead in the water.

I can’t tell you for sure, obviously, but we have plenty of examples here from other members reporting that their dealer told them the same kind of things,… working on it, ordering parts, trying things, talking to the factory, etc but sorry no positive results.

But it was all a lie. Oh, they did try a thing here and there but mostly just let the RV sit on the lot.

So forgive me for doubting anything the dealer tells you.

I think your main issue is with the Winnebago Control Screen and system. Is that correct?

I’d stop working with the dealer entirely and talk personally directly to the manufacturers of the effected parts (Silverleaf Electronic/Firefly?) and become a squeaky wheel with Winnebago Customer Care.

But you need to do what you think is best.

Or (not sure if it's germane in this case) all of the above to run out the warranty.

I have 2023 29v and the control panel stopped working. Winnebago or dealer wouldn’t help so I called
Silverleaf and they got me working again. They sent me a new updated screen. It does feel like they hold it long enough for warranty to run out.

1st time I recall reading where someone sides with the Dealer over WGBO. Where is this Dealer?

Let me ask a few qualifying questions if you want good help, better insight is needed.

1. You say you bought your 2nd RV thru WBGO? What does that mean? A direct purchase thru WBGO or was there a Dealer involved
2. Is the RV under warranty and if so when does it expire?
3. What written correspondence do you have with WBGO?
4. You reference some things that do not seem material, to what you need. i.e upgraded suspension and multiple other items ?
5. Then you go to say you have multiple issues not working?
6. I don't how RV has been at the Dealer for 2 months last fall with Electrical issues? And now since 4/15/2025

It would help to take the emotion out and state a specific problem, what you have done, what they told you etc. etc.

I recall when my RV was new, the Dealer I used to service the warranty items was not the dealer I bought the new RV from, they were smart enough to figure that out. I was NOT their priority. They lied to me on every trip. I remember once while I was waiting on parts that they said WBGO has not shipped, I got with WGBO and when they got my serial number there was no order to be found. In some situations WBGO sent parts to me direct. I have not been to a RV Dealer for any kind of Service in 4 years.

As far as my experience with WGBO, I can't imagine who you could possibly be talking to have the view that you do. The devil is always in the detail, so until you have those details on the table may read as a axe to grind versus here is a problem what do I do.

Good luck.
