A member with a 2013 Winnebago Journey 40U reported a cracked mechanical 4-in-1 gauge housing that is leaking air pressure and has been very difficult to replace. Another RVer with a similar issue considered adding a separate gauge, while one member found an updated part number, W22-00013-038, reportedly in stock, but another member questioned whether it would work because it does not have physical air-line ports.

Hello hoping I can have some help here first time posting on this site. I have a 2013 Winnebago journey 40u that has a four-in-1 gauge for the air pressure oil pressure and temperature. What I'm finding out is it has the common problem of a cracked housing causing the air pressure to leak. It seems these gauges are extremely hard to find I have not been able to find one in the months I have been searching. Has anyone had this problem and upgraded to the digital gauge which is the replacement mine is mechanical with physical air hoses running to the gauge. I'm out of options any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Tour42GD same problem I am going to try a separate gauge if no sensor in gauge it should work.

A little searching and found that they have an updated part number. I didn't find a price for the W22-00013-024 but did find the W22-00013-038 at Big Rig World for $303.69 and they have it in stock.
I put the link for Big Rig World here also:

Are you sure about this? The -038 does not have physical ports for the air lines. How does this gauge work without the sensors and the hose attachments? I have had this problem for several years and have been trying to fix mine with a number of McGyver fixes. There is still a leak that you can hear. I would like to find a gauge that replaces it.

You would think so. I have called them many times over the past few years, and I called them again today, but these part numbers will not work. They have no solution and refused to let me escalate the issue. Mine is a -012, which is superseded by 016, 021, and 022, none of which are available. And they have no workaround. Since both tanks are tied into the alarm system, you can't just buy another gauge, hook it up, and know what the tank pressure is, because the alarm will go off unless both gauges confirm the pressure is over 65 psi. The only alternative is to disable the alarm, which would disable all alarms. They gave me a place that repairs gauges and told me to contact them. D&D Instruments, 888 208-5664. I called them, and they were not familiar with the issue and told me they deal mainly with electronics. I would think it would be their responsibility to at least develop a workaround. Even a method of disabling the alarm for just the air pressure, which would allow someone to add two simple gauges to the dash panel.

Is there any name or number of the actual gauge itself? Freightliner probably buys those gauges from somewhere. If you can find the source of the part you might find a replacement or a repair shop??

Good catch - I checked Google AI and it says:

Then checked Gemini AI and it says:

Totally opposite answers - That's

the issue with AI.
