In the market for a Used Minnie
Why are there so many used 2022 Minnies for sale? Is it all about the slide?
Are there manufacturing dates to avoid?

Covid era builds on all trailers suffered. Most Mfgrs had all new build teams and trailers came out poorly built. We bought one 2024 MM 2108 FBS. Luv the walk around queen bed, although I did stretch it to a full size queen.
The slide was an issue but for $5k upgraded to the Vroom slide and never looked back.

I have a 22 2108 DS FLX that I bought used in 22. The original owner turned it back in to the dealer because he had heard all the stories, for a huge loss. I spent two days going over the trailer and had an inspector also go through it. So, I basically bought a new trailer will no warranty. I Live in Maine and every year I have traveled 5 months in the winter since I bought it. Right now i am in lower Texas heading back to Maine. At this point I have almost 28k miles on the trailer. Besides the small problems that just occur because you are shaking your home as you travel, the only repair I have made is replacing the refrig temp control knob. I have had no problem with the slide, which has been opened and closed hundreds of times. Maybe I was lucky, but I believe that being very careful with maintenance of all aspects of the trailer is vital.

Another thing to remember is that many people bought RV during this time to just have way to get away. Now they are just not using them, and they are costing them monthly payments that they want to get rid of. Do not blame everything on bad builds for the amount of the 22 trailers on the market. Do your homework. Was it stored outdoors? how was the battery stored during the winter? how many miles on it? Has there been any issues that require dealer fixes? How do the seals look? Has the roof been cleaned? If you are not comfortable dealing with the questions hire a certified inspector.

Above all, do not pay a premium price. They are selling because they need to get rid of it.

We bought ours in Maine as well! Really have had no major issues beyond the slide, and I may have been able to ride that out, but felt it was short money, while half way across country, to have the peace of mind!
