I need to get to the black tank flush nozzle. Has anyone done it. Looks like you have to remove the whole panel in the sewer, shower and water input bay. The spray nozzle is clogged and I cannot clean the tank after dumping.

Greetings Lucy,
Try using ½ cup of Borax in your tank. That is the only holding tank chemical that I use, and it keeps my tank sparkling. I would hope that the Borax would dissolve deposits which have plugged your spray nozzle.

Borax

How long have you been using the Borax? I used it in a mixture for black tank chemical. It was a pain to mix up the recipe so I quit. I will try this. One half cup borax to the tank.

Can you tell us a bit more about the problem and which RV you have?
No expert on the flushing systems but it seems kind of hard to think it would stop up at the nozzle. Seems like water pressure would blow it off?
But then you know more about what you see!
What my line of thought is that there is a gizmo called a vacuum breaker and that seems like it might be more likely to jam and cut flow, if that is what you are seeing?

My thought goes that the vacuum breaker may be stuck to cut water flow and it may/may not be a much easier thing to check. But they are in different locations on different floorplans of the 2014 Meridian.
If you can tell us which RV, we may be able to pull up drawings to let you give that vacuum breaker a look?
This is where it is on the 40U model but may not be true on your RV, so just looking for an easier way to start!
Parts drawings are here if you would rather go direct:

You may know a totally different part of the story but I thought to mention this idea?

I know about the check valve. I believe the nozzle is plugged and then backs up the water to the check valve. Shuts off the flow.

I have been using Borax for about four years now. I use it in my Grey tank too.

Do you have the vacuum breaker or has it been changed to a check valve at some point?
If it has been changed to a check valve it is a health hazard as that can allow the black water to be sucked back into the fresh line.
Two different items that do different things.
