I am looking for a cover to use on two e-bikes that will be on a bike rack attached to the Navion hitch receiver. Of the bike covers I have found, of which there are thousands being sold, owners report them tearing apart after their first use. Has anyone found a cover for two e-bikes that has held up when transporting them with a motorhome?

We've been using a cover for lawn furniture, also used one for a grill. They were good for a couple of years each before giving up.

Looks like a good cover and not too expensive. It is out of stock at Amazon though until June 26 (as with most bike related items these days).

I went through the same search a couple of years ago and finally just went with two from Beeway for our ebikes. Two covers work for us since many times I travel solo and a double cover was too baggy for one bike. The Beeway covers have lasted over two years and 16,000 rack miles and are just now beginning to fail (strap/buckle). I did do some underside reinforcing around the handlebar ends with some gorilla tape early on which I'm sure helped them last. I also use two bungie's to reduce flutter.
Lucky for us that the 2016 View has tail lights that are not blocked by the covers... brake lights are higher than the bike covers and signals are outboard of the covers.

I often see "Pro" brand covers on other rigs. Regards, Mike

As an update to my earlier post, I see that the Beeway covers are no longer available.
I ended up ordering a replacement for my two year old Beeway cover from a company called DasBike. I'll report back when it's been tested out.

We’ve used this PRO cover while towing our Micro Mini in inclement weather on our two bikes racked atop our pickup tonneau. It’s held up well, but you do have to secure the straps well. You have More wind protection on the back of motor home. So, I would recommend it.

Wow. That's a great price. I was going to see about getting one of these LINK but I might rethink that.

Bike cover

The company is called formosa. Located in California. The cover is heavy duty. About 100 dollars.. works great. Zipper all around. Tell them you heard their ad on the radio on cleveland Ohio

Formosa Bike Covers

I have had success with 2 Formosa bike covers. The first one faded and the zipper got stuck after 10 years. The second cover I am using now on a 2 inch receiver hitch. The bikes ride on a Saris Model Thelma(discontinued) and the cover provides a water tight cover. The ends are semi-transparent with reflective piping. You can find them on Amazon. Good Luck!!
