Looking at buying the 2108TB as an extra TT for quick trips when it’s just my wife and I. I currently use a Reese Steady Flex on my 33 ft trailer and would like something with less work for the Micro Minnie and easy to unhook etc.
Any ideas ? Thinking about just two friction sways from Reese but not sure if that’s enough control.. Trailer will be used for 5-8k trips across the country so many wind environments etc.
Any help and guidance is appreciated.

My minnie 2500rl has the same 7000# gross weight. I have a CURT 17063 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Integrated Lubrication and Sway Control, Up to 14K, 2-In Shank, 2-5/16-Inch Ball -
Towed by a 2019 Expedition, soon to be replaced by an F150 Powerboost and I wouldn’t even think of using less of a WDH with that much weight behind me. Especially in windy conditions. Call me a Wimp but I’d rather be safer than sorry.

I just purchased a 2108TB a few weeks back. I purchased the Anderson 3380 Weight Distribution Hitch and I'm pulling it with a 2020 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with a V8. It pulls like a dream. I hardly know it's back there. It's supper easy to hook up and disconnect. I put the hitch block under that jack, raise the tongue enough to put some slack in the chains, pull one pin and I'm ready to disconnect the ball. Hooking up is just the reverse. There are several Youtube videos out there that show the process. I highly recommend this hitch for this trailer.

I use a Blu ox hitch for my 2108fbs which I towed across country by my V8 Jeep GC, combo works well. I use the 800 lb bars to pull up tight, raise using the tongue jack makes it easy.

I purchased a Weigh Safe WD hitch for my 25 Micro MInnie based on a neighbors use of one for his larger Grand Design. LIke the guage installed to see tongue weight. Hoping to get more experience with it soon.
Company people are nice and its from Utah not overseas.
