We just purchased a 2025 Winnebago Adventurer 35F. We’re considering purchasing a Steer Safe steering stabilizer and wondered if anyone had any input or experience with steering stabilizers? I.e. other brands

We had a Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer (RSS) on our 2017 Adventurer 37F and it was one of the most effective modifications we made to improve driveability.

We have the Safe-T-Plus stabilizer. It corrected a couple problems we were having from new.

From new the steering was tight and hyper sensitive not loose as some describe. Meaning that if I held the wheel perfectly still (elbows on the arm rests) it would track straight as an arrow. The slightest move of the wheel would introduce enough input to require corrections that then required more corrections, etc., the input sensitivity was the problem. Add a little wind and it was uncomfortable.

Second problem was grooves in the road that would end that straight tracking in an instant requiring steering corrections.

The Safe-T-Plus corrected both problems to my satisfaction. The driving experience is way more enjoyable with that upgrade combined with the rear track bar install.

Good to know…as a new and first time owner, we installed the same equipment on our Adventurer 29B.

Thanks for providing such detailed information and for sharing…truly appreciated!
