Ever since I got my Vita the stereo pained me with not only 90% of the sound going to the center speaker on the dash, that center speaker really sucked and no amount of twiddling with the MBUX settings could make it palatable. I saw somewhere (sprinter source?) a while ago about removing the purple-grey wire from the speaker. That wire is the 2 channel feed to it. Disconnect and boom! All of the sound goes solely to the doors and the dash tweeters. Instant sound upgrade without spending a penny, and it took me longer to find something to snap the grill off with than it did to actually pull the crappy one way speaker out and yank the wire..
Mercedes should be ashamed of that setup.

I have the center speaker but no radio sound comes out of it, only the different chimes and beeps. Maybe because I don't have the factory radio?
