I am new to the forum and have a 2006 Winnebago View with a class C chassis and Mercedes Benz diesel engine.
After returning home from the Olympic Peninsula here in WA I noticed that there was a smell of propane and my propane alarm started beeping along with its red light flashing. I immediately hit the mute button which did not work and had to disconnect the wiring from the 2 AGM batteries (in parallel).
I have an appointment to have the propane unit checked and its connections.
I also have decided to upgrade to one 200 amp 12 volt lithium battery with compatible converter.
I am not an electrician and unfortunately did not take a picture of the wiring connections. The large red/black cables I know will attach to the similar posts on the new battery but there are 2 black and 1 white wires which I do not know where to attach. I used my multimeter for continuity and the only wire that beeped was the large black cable. All the other wires did not beep. Would appreciate any feedback on how to wire the new battery.
