Good afternoon everyone,
We purchased a new 2023 Micro Minni trailer last year, it was new off of the lot. We have used it quite a bit until winter and then had warranty work completed, one of the items was what I thought was cracking of the decals on the passenger side of the trailer.
After the dealer received the approval to replace the decals and started the removal of the decal, they found the Azdel fiberglass is cracking under the decals.
I have been told by Winnebago they are trying to determine a fix for this, they also mentioned the have alot of others doing the same thing, has anyone else experienced this same issue?

So the fiberglass is cracking, sounds like a bad batch when made? They can repair cracks but its just going to crack in other areas if thats the case.

We are experiencing the same issue of cracking.
Our issue is micro cracks and they are under all the black black decals only.
Crane notes that dark decals can cause this issue and they have notations in their warranty brochure.
We are working with the dealer now to resolve and repair.... we will see how this fiasco remedies itself.

We have now retained an attorney, Winnebago was non responsive.

What do the cracks look like?
Here’s some micro cracks I found under the sealant when replacing the polycarbonate glass dome over the shower on my 2022 Vista 29v. Solvent in the adhesive?

The cracks are in the fiberglass.

I can't see in the photos but could that possibly be fiberglass checking? (its a term)

Fiberglass checking on an RV refers to the appearance of fine cracks in the gel coat or fiberglass surface, often caused by thermal stress from temperature changes. It can be a cosmetic issue or, if severe, indicate deeper structural problems due to moisture intrusion. Regular inspection, cleaning, and maintenance can help prevent or mitigate fiberglass checking.

What is Fiberglass Checking?
Fiberglass checking, also known as thermal checking, occurs when the fiberglass material expands and contracts due to temperature fluctuations, creating stress that leads to cracks in the gel coat or fiberglass itself. These cracks can be superficial or penetrate deeper into the fiberglass, potentially compromising the structural integrity of the RV.

If you google around for fiberglass RV wall checking you'll find more information
