Anti-Sway shocks necessary on 2018 View

I installed both the Sumo Springs and Hellwig anti-sway bar to reduce swaying on my 2018 View. These helped significantly. However, for maximum anti-swaying I am considering adding new shocks. Questions for the Forum, is it a good idea to add shocks both front and rear?, if yes, what shocks should I get (Bilstein, Koni, Fox, Etc), do I need a front end alignment ? Thanks everyone, again.

Agile Off Road has the best rear shocks, which are their modified Fox 2.5 shocks. I installed them along with a Hellwig sway bar and it's a great combo. I actually checked with them today about front struts and they're using Bilsteins, but they're currently on backorder. Since they're struts, not shocks, you will definitely need an alignment after changing them, but it will be safe to drive a short distance to an alignment shop.

If you change your rear shocks, get rid of the Sumo Springs and go back to the stock bump stops. All the Sumos do is make the ride harsher, which is why you see so many people tossing them once they realize that what they really need is a stiffer sway bar and upgraded shocks.

If I add the shocks with Sumo's do you think my ride will be too stiff? Would you add shocks (or struts to front) to front and rear?

Try it and see. You can always remove them.

I haven't replaced our front struts yet, as the rear suspension affects the overall ride quality much more than the front. Our strut are functioning fine, but I may replace them due to age and mileage.

Due to the high center of gravity all motorhomes are built with some body roll and tilt is going to be a standard part of the driving experience. You can add all manner of shocks, roll bars and helper springs but you can't lower the center of gravity.

That said, a 7-year old coach could benefit from new shocks. Mind you shocks are designed for up/down motion control, not side to side body tilt.

Shocks also damp the side-to-side rocking motion when you're on uneven surfaces.

Fox shocks are a great upgrade. Agile off road changes them. I have your setup plus Fox V1.
