Ciao All, I have another one of my questions.
2017 View w/ ducted AC system… (not sure on brand).

I took my RV Silencer panel down to clean the filters and noticed that when the fan is running, I seem to get air blowing down through what I thought was the exhaust side. I would have figured if anything fans would spin to suck the air out ? I had some small leaks through the plenum baffle so I taped those up, but the air seems to be coming from what looks like a condenser or radiator type thing above the baffle. Like right opposite of the wiring. It’s almost like the excess air that wont fit through the duct baffles is blowing through there but the air is not cold. Is there an exhaust fan that could be running backwards ? I did add a MicroAir soft start, but I don’t think that would do anything.

That is the intake side.....the other side is pressurized and any gaps between the 2 can leak air. But it should be cold.

I have heard of motors running backwards but have not seen it. You can pull the cowl to verify.

I would doubt it running backward but easy to tell if the air is blowing out of the filter area instead of sucking in? You've not mentioned no air coming out of the vents when it is running. I would have assumed that would get your attention right away on a hot day?

Alrighty then, thank you everyone - the intake is sucking in air. When I had the fan on, it sucked the filters upwards toward the ceiling - my bad…. Thank you for putting up with a newbie !
