Adding Limited-Slip to an Open Diff.....

Existing Rig, 2018 FORD E450 31K 6.8L-V10 w/ DANA/SPICER M273HD, or a DANA Super 70 w/10.75-RG & 37-Spline Axles w/4:56 Gears....

I did install a Detroit Locker in my 1988 F-350 single rear wheel, and I love it. I believe the larger differentials lend themselves well to the Detroit Locker.

I also installed a Detroit Locker in my 2008 Mustang GT with an 8.8" ring gear. That was an absolute disaster, as the backlash was over 30º. I removed that and put in a TrueTrac instead.

When I changed the diff gears in my old Dodge pickup, and knowing how vital proper setup is to final resutt; I found a mechanic who worked on race car differentials and hired the work done. The result was outstanding!
It's not the cheapest way, but IMO by far the best.
