Has anyone found a right sized box to enclose the hot connections on the tongue of the Micro Minnie?
I am looking for a waterproof box I can mount the existing terminal block/overload stuff that is on the tongue. It is a poor design getting splashed all the time out in the open!
Hoping to get all the wires in sealed strain relief connectors, or RTV the heck out of the entry points. I would like to start with a screwed sealed enclosure with a gasket between it and the frame as necessary.
Thx! Bill

Simply search for "junction box clear cover" on Amazon and pick up whatever matches the overall dimensions of the stuff you want to enclose. There are countless options.

I've used this one for other projects and really like it.

Thanks, EatSleepWoof, I have seen that one. I like some others that have screw down covers to prevent accidental opening. Did you use that one on your tongue?
Tuff to find one the right size to fit! Hoping others have done this mod…

I haven't made that modification on my trailer. Not yet, at least.

You'll be hard pressed to accidentally open that box I linked above. It takes significant finger strength to open that latch. Personally, if I'm in a situation where I need to access those breakers (for example to reset the manual breaker) in camp, the last thing I'd want is to have to fiddle with a screwdriver to get the cover off. Easy access is a good thing IMO.

I have used this one of Amazon

Thanks BCborn!!!
Do you have a link to the box? Can’t seem to find it…
Did you use it for the plug that connect to tow vehicle? Or for the terminal block and breaker at the tongue?

Search Peak Tow Terminal Box on Amazon.com search bar. I used it for the plug that connects to the tow vehicle and to eliminate wires in the OEM Box behind the frame. I also wired in a Fuse Panel on the storage wall to eliminate more wires from below.

If the price is right the terminal strip in the middle can be removed to make it an empty box to put the OEM reset switch. Personally, for easy access, I would move them to the storage wall with the fuse panel as well.

In my case If there is anything is left in the OEM Galvinized Box below it would be the reset switches.

Ah, found it!!
Looks like it will fit that strip of stuff, very tight down there to get stuff in something covered.
Thanks! Bill

Hey Bill, After having the same issue repeatedly with my current 2225RL and an earlier 2108, finally had enough and asked my local RV repair shop guy about moving the whole works inside. He simply made a hole up into my front underbay storage area and moved all the breakers inside and built a nice little wood box around them to provide protection from all the stuff that gets stowed there. After repeated torrential downpours and hours of driving in heavy rain, decided it was time for a solution - not just a temporary fix. So far no further problems and hopefully I'll be saying that going forward. Best of luck, Dick in Maine.

Thanks Ranger, I will be looking at mounting a box I have- which may be good enuf…
I do like the idea of relocating the TB and breakers, just not much room in the pass thru.
Drivers side has solar MPPT for portable, and breakers in elec boxes for portable solar.
Same on passenger side, but also has Tire Lync, etc.
if the box for the stuff doesn’t work out, then on to relocation, may have to splice to get enuf wire length on, for instance, tongue jack. Solder and heat shrink..

Doesn’t help that they used indoor grade ring and fork crimp connections down there!!! NOT gas-tight crimps and growing green corrosion already!!!

AArrgggww, the box was not big enuf to hold the parts on the bus bar, back on the hunt for a right size box....
