2024 GMC Yukon/Yukon XL for 2023 Minnie 2630MLRK

We have a 26’ Winnebago Minnie Travel Trailer. Do we go with the 6.2L V8 AT4 Yukon or the 5.3L V8 Yukon XL
Both have towing packages

It looks like either truck can tow over 8,000 pounds, and the 26' Minnie is coming in at about 5,700 pounds dry weight. That leaves you with more than 2,300 pounds of water and gear you can carry in the trailer, which is just fine.
The power of the two vehicles is different:

• The 6.2L V8 engine in the GMC Yukon AT4 has 420 horsepower and 460 ft-lbs of torque
• The 5.3 liter V8 engine in the GMC Yukon has 355 horsepower and 383 ft-lbs of torque

I guess if it were me, I would go with the more powerful of the two engines.

Don’t just go by engine size… the longer wheelbase of the XL is a real plus when towing a 26’ TT.

Hey, we went with the GMC YUKON AT4 with 6.2 L V8 engine. Pulls with no issues EXCEPT… Tractor Trailers pushing is big issue when passing!!! I’m all over the lane! What can I do!??
