A member with a 2023 View 24D reported that the entry steps stopped working, and replacing the motor did not fix the issue. Other members suggested checking for breakers or fuses near the passenger seat or in an exterior compartment, inspecting the door magnetic switch, confirming switch positions and ignition-related retract functions, checking grounds, and using a multimeter to trace power back from the motor.
The original poster later found the breakers under the passenger seat and tried resetting them, but the steps still did not work at first. After testing the motor directly on a 12V battery and reinstalling everything, the steps began working intermittently when the door opened and closed, so the issue remained a work in progress rather than fully resolved.
