2023 Micro Minnie 2108FBS Dinette Seat Removal?

Hello All, I want to put drawers under the dinette seats of our 2023 2108FBS and In doing so, I want to widen the current door opening (Purchased larger matching drawer fronts from Winnebago). to give me the widest drawer possible.

To do this, having the seat portion out would make the job much easier.

Has anyone removed the dinette base on there Micro Minnie (with curved corner). What did you have to do to remove it, screws, were there any staples?

Anyone have pictures of the unit removed?

I removed my whole dinette set and replaced them with recliners! Very easy to do, just remove the screws you can find (maybe 10 or so on each seat). You will need a square tip bit for your screw gun or screwdriver. Probably took less than 5 minutes to do. No staples at all. Remove the cushions and the wood insert under the cushions, then just look for the screws. You will need to cut and resplice two wires that go to your over table light on one of the benches but it is a simple 2 wire 12 volt hookup.

Thanks for the update. I was able to make the cuts with a mini router and spiral bit with bearing.

I do have one question after the fact. Removing all the screws in the base to floor and the screws on the base to the wall/slide, does the base come out with the seat back still intact to the slide wall. I didn't try as I did not want to have to deal with the silicone caulking between the slide and seat backs.

Next up is to make the 18 1/2 long x 11 3/4 deep x 14 1/4 wide drawer boxes. I bought larger panels (door fronts) from Winnebago Parts via a local dealer, will cut them down to size.

The curved section make great storage for those 60 oz bottles.

Yes the seat backs and the base all come out as one unit after removing the screws you spoke of.
