A member reported several serious issues with a 2022 Micro Minnie FLX 2100BH, including water damage from an unsealed shower and poorly sealed kitchen sink, plus a partition wall near the slide and bunks appearing to push upward into the ceiling and creak when walking across the floor. The member later added that the exterior wall appears to be bowing outward and pulling screws from the partition wall, and that the slide had previously come off track and damaged the same general area before...

Hey all!
I am having so major issues with my 2022 micro mini FLX 2100BH. We got it new in 23 and have had it would say an average amount of trips in it since.

Aside from a long list of smaller annoyances we have three major issues that I am noticing this year. The first two are basically water damage issues from leaks caused by poor manufacturing. The shower was never sealed appropriately (like at all) and we did not know it. Same with the kitchen sink the sealant around it was not contacting both the sink and counter. Both issues have resulted in water damage. The third and more major issue is it appears that the partition wall that divides the slide area and the bunks is pushing up into the ceiling.. hard to explain so please see pics. Its making a bad creaking noise when you walk across the floor that's how we noticed it. Its clearly something structural. Its almost like the outside wall is bowing out somehow.

I am so very disappointed in our purchase and honestly would never purchase a winnibago again. I don't really know how to proceed. Insurance claim?? I have reached out to the service departments but have only got the run around. Any help is much appreciated thank you.

I've heard that they screw the roof to the walls. It seems to me that may be your problem. There's a guy in Arizona that works on campers and motorhomes. He's on u tube check it out.

I am not sure if its attached at the roof (can't see) but after more looking I can see that the exterior wall is screwed to this partition wall and they are definitely being pulled out of the partition wall as the exterior wall is bowing out (I believe) I'll look at the YouTube guy is there a video that talks about this? Thanks!

I can't see the real problem from here as it needs a close look. But from experience withots of RV over the years, there is one consistent thing. First is they are not build like stick built houses and the warrenty issues are certainly different.
That often leaves folks missing the details of what to watch for and take care of as time goes by.
First thought might be to check the manual for required maintenance schedules and see if you have done those as a first step before going to a dealer.

One of the common things I see is the new owers often do not think of the Rv as different and that certainly lets them fall into traps if they are not really into really into reading the manuals.
One of the traps is that WE are required to check and repair seals around the roof and that may be what has happened in your case.
Perhaps first step should be to check what the manul says is required and see if that has been done. That is certain to be the first issue before any type of warrenty thoughts!

Yeah I agree normal maintenance is very important. Especially with these trailers, they are biuld subpar IMHO. I have looked at the roof and see zero signs of trouble from that side. But I will definitely double check the manual.

The issue "looks" like the the wall is pushing into the roof but I cant see how or why...

Additional info I should have probably mentioned. The first year we had it the slide stopped working. It came off the tracks and did damage that wall (slightly different area tho) we had it repaired at the dealer but now I am not so sure. Thanks!
