2022 Micro Minnie 2108DS Fresh Tank Fill Hose Routing

Picked up a 2022 2108DS, and attempted to sanitize the fresh water tank. New to this entire RV experience which has been interesting so far to say the least.

The fresh water fill was pointed up hill, so trying to add bleach was pretty much not possible. Couple questions, is this normal routing? I moved the line so that it was actually able to fill. Any issues with this?

Also check out the wheel well rust, seems like when water hits the fender flare it just goes inside the unit.

The previous owner apparently also disconnected the external shower and closed it off with a hose clamp :/ ...

I believe most folks just start with an empty fresh water fill hose, hook-up or place the fill hose output in your tank fill, then add ¼ cup of bleach (for every 15 gallons of water that your tank holds) to the empty hose. Then, hook-up the fill hose to your hose bib, and proceed to fill your tank. Run your taps a little too, to make sure that the mild bleach solution gets into all of your water lines (even the toilet flush). Let it sit for four hours, drain, and re-fill with fresh water. Do this at least every six months.

Ill give that a shot next time seems easier than trying to funnel it into the gravity fill.

I used Purogene this year and it is much quicker, one hour time, then dumped. Faster and no bleach smell/taste that I had to rinse 3-5 times. The tank and water are better than when using bleach.
I have an interior pump and use that to pull in the anti freeze solution, and a Milwaukee battery pump outside to fill the 30 gallons of water, I add the Purogene to water to dilute.
