2021 Micro Minnie 2100BH Lithium Shore Charging Upgrade

Hello everyone, we recently picked up a 2021 micro Minnie 2100bh. When we bought it, the dealer threw in a LiFePO4 battery as an upgrade. I’ve since ordered the wf-8955-ad-mba to allow efficient shore charging. My question for those who have been down this road: does the 30 amp mini breaker on the tongue cause problems in this set up, switching off when the charger is trying to bulk charge the battery? Have those who have made this connection successfully had to modify the wiring on the front mini switch? Thanks!

2022 Micro Minnie 2225. Swapped to lithium a couple years ago and have had no issues with the tongue jack. But I did have my local RV repair guy move the breakers inside the front bay from where they were exposed and attached to the frame. Got tired of having them repeatedly replaced due to full exposure to road crap and moisture. Worth the expense and only wish I'd had it done sooner. And have been very happy with my Battle Born Battery.

Thank you, ranger 1001. Moving the breakers inside seems like a good move. We didn’t manage that yet, so rolling with are fingers crossed and hoping everything holds up. I did add a positive junction post on the frame near the breakers to make the connections more orderly and hopefully secure. At the same time, I moved things around so the mini breaker wasn’t between the charger and the battery, which I figured was not necessary as I have the battery line protected with an anl fuse. Though if anyone thinks I’m missing something, please do speak up.

For those who are curious; I moved the X2power lithium battery inside the pass through, added a switch, marine rated battery fuse and portable solar charger with MPPT controller. Everything worked well for our first big three week trip. Well, not everything. Lots of things came loose bumping along some of the roads, but maybe that is for another post.
But on the electrical side, the 125 ah battery was plenty of power when supplemented with the 200w portable solar as we have an absorption fridge. I didn’t have time to install the lithium compatible charger before we left and we still got through ok. The stock charger didn’t behave as I expected. It would run dc off the battery until around 70% battery capacity and then kick in to maintain that charge. But it wouldn’t charge the battery unless it was really low, though I’m not sure the exact value. Once the charger did kick in it would charge to 100%. Since we bounced between electric and non-electric sites the unpredictable charging got old and I’ll install the upgraded charger before the next trip.
