All, recently came through Nevada on Highway 95 and the wind was incredible. Considering having rear stabilizer (Hellwig) installed along with beefed up springs and shocks. However I'm not sure with the configuration (generator/tanks) under the unit if there is a solution. This will be frequent trip to visit family so it's not a once in awhile trip. Any thoughts or solutions you all have found effective?

Greetings klaha,
It looks like enough folks complained about the handling characterists, so in 2022 Winnebago came-up with an upgraded suspension for the Travato:
I would contact Lichtsinn RV directly and order the entire kit.
Please let us know how it goes.

We're waiting for delivery of a 2026 View 24T AWD. I am making arrangements to get Timbrens on the rear, a Hellwig sway bar, and four Fox shocks. We encounter hellacious winds in Wyoming. Ours will come from the factory w/ some sort of automatic Mercedes counter-wind system.

I would avoid Sumos. They have cold weather issues.

Most motorhomes have cold weather issues. Follow the warmer weather, as most do, and you'll be fine with Sumos/Timbrens (same idea, different brand). And, they're a lot cheaper than rebuilding the entire Sprinter suspension, as you appear to be doing. Yes, the newer cab chassis come with some factory installed, German engineered, crosswind and other stability assist technology. Why not drive your coach before you rebuild it?

Sumos (and not Tembrens), as I understand it, are made of micro-cellular polyurethane that stiffens in cold weather, even disintegrating in very cold weather. I am buying a 2026 View w/ AWD outfitted for year round use and selling our decently running 2007 23J (158K miles). We used the old one down to at least zero and through pretty serious snow. We have Tembrens on the old RV and on a minivan we recently traded in on a Mid-size SUV w/ 11" ground clearance for snow and dirt roads.

We are retired free spirits! What I really like to do is bicycle on and off road.
