2017 Winnebago ERA 70A Broken Driver-Side Window

Apparently, Winnebago no longer has a source for the smoked glass windows. I have a broken window on the Driver's side that was shattered by a rock that popped up from passing traffic. Winnebago gave Camping World an OCT 2034 date. Has anyone had to replace a broken window in the recent past and if so, how did you source it. Thanks.

Try your local windshield shop. If you are in Florida or Arizona I can direct you to a good one.

Ask a Mercedes Benz Sprinter dealer if they know of a source. Or some other options?

A few years ago we had our 2016 ERA at the local Mercedes-Benz dealer getting some maintenance work done. They called and said they had backed the van into something and shattered one of the rear windows. There were able to get a replacement window delivered and installed the next day.

So give your nearest M-B Van service shop a call and see what they can do.

I have a bit of different view when needing things for RV.
I work it in the following order, Camping World last as I've been there gotten a bad feel for ever going back. They installed jacks and totally ignored what we had agreed on doing. Winnebago as a last resort for parts that I can't find other places cheaper and quicker. I go to any number of sites to check as they do have lots of other dealers.
But my first option to check for things that are not always standard for RV is the local supply.
Things like car/truck parts, I get from a car/truck parts store. Glass comes from a glass shop for me! If a good local shop has no idea, then I move up the chain as needed until I find what is needed!

If its a factory Mercedes window its easy to find. If not, some of those used SE-GI windows, look for that etching in the corner. If so, call StateWide Windows in Elkhart, IN because they bought out SE-GI years ago
