2016 Via Ambient Air Sensor

Can anyone tell me where to purchase this part. The Mercedes dealer does not produce the correct item, neither does any search I do on the internet.

This sensor was found dangling under the hood, while attached to a metal bracket. It is throwing a code.

I have spent hours searching and several trips to auto part stores trying to find I replacement.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not sure how or what you have done , so start with checking a few things, just to make sure?
Can we assume this was hanging by the wires which plug into it? Not just unplugged, correct?
Any chance of giving them the date the RV was built, rather than a chassis build date which may have been the prior year?
But asking AI, I get this:

To assure right Vin and build date, maybe check this label near driver's left side?

Getting parts that are likely part of the chassis can get weird, but maybe this will add the bit of luck you need?

Thanks for your reply.
It was still connected to the wiring connector. It appeared that the bracket had become detached.
I have called two Winnebago dealers, each say it is a Mercedes part. The Mercedes dealer cannot produce the correct part. I'm hoping someone will recognize the part and pass on where it might be found.

Was your part number the same as the note above and it is not correct?
What part number are you chasing?
A search brought up dozens that looked close so spotting the correct one by appearance alone may not get much.
That part number seems to show several places to get it but the problem with parts that are getting near ten years old is the way things change so often. They get a different supplier for the part and the number may change!
And a big part of the question can be a lack of motivation for Mercedes to spend much time looking for the right number. Lots easier to just tell you most anything to get you out of there!
They make a good portion of their money on things we can't fix!

I have chased down every part number I have found via the Mercedes on-line, AI queries, parts stores, you name it. I haven't found anything with the nut and washer.... everything is all plastic. The crazy part is the ambient air display on the dash appears to work EVEN WITH THE PART REMOVED! Yet I have a "Check Engine" light and it's throwing a P0071 (Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Range/Performance) code.
Now 'splain that!

I sent the images to Lichtsinn Motors hoping someone there will be able to identify it.

Looks like a Bosch part. Should be a part number on it somewhere. Maybe on the hex? That’s where I see numbers when I do a google image search for a Bosch air temp sensor.

The circle is much smaller.... Yes indeed, it does appear to be a Bosch intake air sensor. The only number I could find is the plastic composition code. When you search on air intake sensor for a 2016 Sprinter it will tell you that it's integrated in the mass air sensor which is not the case here. Thanks so much...I am still searching.

There are many ways to chase parts and we may each know different ways to go about the job.
It helps to know what has been done when we try to suggest a different path.
But one of the big problems we often have when trying to help is the lack of response to our questions.
You've told us you have chased every part number YOU have found which seems to assume that there is no solution, without telling us much to go on for suggestions!
