2016 Journey 36M Headlight Upgrades?

The halogen headlights on my View are just awful. I added a pair of LED driving lights with a separate dashboard switch and relay. The difference is nothing short of remarkable.
The entire setup cost less than $75 and an hour of work.

How about a photo for us to check it out

I don’t have pictures of the relay and wiring under the hood but here are the installed lights mounted in the lower grill.
I also upgraded the pathetic horns at the same time. Now they can be actually heard.

I might ask a few questions first as the situation can change the answers.
What is the problem as far as you can tell us? Are the OEM lights just not bright enough, don't aim down the road far enough or something you can define?
Part of my reason for asking what seems simple is the way weather effects the lights if you live in the wrong parts of the country!
Here in the Central Texas area I often meet cars that have lights so dim, I wonder how they can see at all at night!
The combination of the strong sun combined with the constant dirt that we have in the air can degrade the lens so badly that it needs to be changed. Driving in sandy areas frequently can sandblast them ? When looking at the lens of the lights, are they clear or does the glass have a thick haze appearance? It may be as simple as changing out a few parts if the lights were okay when new?
I might start with the assumption that the lights had to pass a minimum design spec and look first at whether they are just old and worn out?

Maybe getting the aim adjusted after years of shifting might be a solution?
Maybe a trip to a garage that deals with headlight aiming would be worthwhile?
Our eyes are not really very good at testing some things.

I tend to try for the simple solutions first before jumping to more difficult!

You raise valid questions regarding lens quality and proper aiming. In my case the lenses are crystal clear and the bulbs are the highest rated output I could find. I considered LED replacement bulbs but none would fit in the housing. Also heat buildup would ultimately damage the plastic housing.
The addition of a set of LED driving lights made a huge difference to visibility. I added a dedicated switch on the dashboard and relay to handle the load.
