I noticed a bulge on the rear bottom of the slide when it's out. I am suspecting a broken frame. If so has anyone had this and what did you do to repair it. 2014 tour QD. 45,000.miles and is not full time. The slide drive was changed to slim gear 3 years ago.

Have the same - maybe not as pronounced. WBGO stiffened up the internal structure in that corner - hasn't gotten worse in 4+ years. Just recently put the Vroom system on that slide - eliminated slide out box improper movement. Previously had both Schwintek fixed rail (which failed) and slim rack rails (which bound up and almost fractured).

And check your rollers - are they tightly mounted, loose, etc. When we did the Vroom we added aluminum plates underneath the slide box at each roller to smooth out the movement, eliminated roller tracks and box sag on the ends.

Thanks for the info. Do you mind telling me what it cost to get that corner stiffened up. Did they have to pull the slide out? I am in Western Canada and would travel back to Forest City to get it repaired correctly. I was just there last May getting paint repair done at CDI.

WBGO did a courtesy repair since we'd had so many problems with that slide - basically welded in some more structure which I think prevented the problem from getting worse.

when debating repairs. I sometimes feel better if I start with knowing as much as practical about the item. In this case, Winnebago has given us a new type parts catalog and drawings that let us look closer at things that are hidden. Things like what is causing that bulge?
If inclined, take a look here and drill down to the parts and location to see what might be casuing the bulge?
New system on parts and I am still learning small points on moving around in it, so limited help on how to do it best but possibly a help for you to compare drawings to RV!
Find on parts list at right to click there and it highlights in yellow or drawing!!
But that only helps when I know the correct name, so often just wandering and wondering? o_O
