Hello fellow travelers! I am trying to remove and replace the city water inlet on my 2013 Vista 35. Trouble is, the inlet connects to a rigid pvc pipe and I can't pull it out of the wall far enough to get wrenches around the fittings to loosen them.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi Otis,
This older thread might have some useful information:
Hopefully, somebody who can help will chime-in here tomorrow.

Please post a picture of the panel and water inlet. On my 2014 Sunstar, I had to unscrew the white steel panel that it's mounted to, and that gave me enough slack to unscrew it.

We often miss some of the really good info Winn posts to help us. One is the interactive parts drawings that let us see what is hidden on the big old bus!

Wet bay here with port?

If we turn it around and find the other side of the port? We see that port is screwed onto an adapter that is a stand MPT !

Can you get hands under the panel to feel getting a wrench on the adapter to hold it from turning while getting a second wrench on the port to unscrew it? Maybe three screws on front to remove first?

Maybe a cell phone, stuck under to get a good look and guide you?

The best RV repairman has multiple hands and many joints to allow access!
Wish you luck on the trek?

No idea of how much space, etc. is involved but there may be one idea to help?
I am finding more uses for my cell phone and pictures.
One of the problems I get into on repair things is that it is often something hidden behind some big, impossible to move, item! Things on the RV are often in that group and this connection might be one?

My favorite new tool is a cell phone mount that has a suction cup mount with lots of ways to swivel the phone. Depending on need, I find I can use one of the options for normal view or selfie view on the phone and mount it at a point that I can see the screen view of the work, even when that point is hidden like behind or under the dash!

Kind of like having a helper to hold the light? Only better because it doesn't get bored and wander off as bad as some helpers!
