On my previous Aspect (55 gal.), at 1/4 tank, the fuel to the generator will cut off. On my 2013 Sightseer (80 gal.) at what level is the genset fuel pickup tube feeding gas to the generator? Seems to be a lot lower than 1/4 tank.

Hi Tom & Jean,
On your 2013 F53 80 gallon gasoline tank, the pickup for the generator is supposed to be at the ¼ tank level. Have you confirmed being able to add 60 gallons when your fuel gauge reads ¼ tank?

Thank Eagle5. That’s what I thought. Sure wish the manual would tell us this information.

Currently tank is on “E” with low fuel light on and generator still ran. I’ll need to run it a while to see if it was just due to gas in the line. I’ll let you all know.

Some details that may make the answer somewhat less than totally correct? Th eline from the tank is likely to always be put in the same locatiopn but any slope in the RV wil make that opening higher or lower and that can make what we call 1/4 tank left change a bit if the fuel runs to a different corner of the tank.
Also gas gauges tend to be pretty funky when we are lookiing for exact low levels!
I normally just consider the gas gauge as an estimate and don't try to play it too close!
