Hi there! I have some work I need to do on the headlights, 3rd brake light and a few marker/clearance lights. My question is specifically regarding the headlights. I ordered replacement headlights (includes the bulbs) The current lenses are very old and definitely needs to be replaced along with high beams on one is out, and turn signal on another is out. I decided it would be just as easy to replace the entire unit.

Has anyone done this before? I see a lot of posts with smaller or completely different light assemblies or just the bulbs, but not an entire unit for this odd model RV. Any tips before I pop open the engine compartment next weekend make matters worse? :D

No help on the mechanical end of the job as I've not been there/done that but you may find the wiring diagram handy to sort where to find battery/ground on plugs?
This drawing/ sheet one!

Some things to know if not used to the Winnebago way?
They stamp wire ID on many of the smaller wires.

This info can then be found on the drawings of that section of wiring. We can use this chart to "decode" the info for the "from" and "to" locations of the wire. That info will often tell us whether to expect battery or ground on any specific connectors we find!

Sounds like you may find different problems on different parts of those lights, so possible you may need to know where the power should be found on each light?

I marked a few point that you may want like wire gauge and color or which pin in a connector.
Winnebago does not give much info on the chassis beyond the parts they have added as that is considered the chassis folks end!

Good luck on the hunt!
Sometimes we just have to start and figure it out as we go?
