I am a bit nervous if the Ford V10 with my Jeep Liberty in tow will have difficulty getting up/down/through the mountains. Our "planned" route during August WI-MN-Winnipeg-Regina-Calagary-Bnff-Vancouver. Would appreciate anyone who has traveled through mountains with a Ford V10 to share their experiences.

Itty bitty motorhome! We live at 8600 feet elevation and have a much heavier unit and while we're not screaming up the mountain passes here in Colorado, it's acceptable. Don't worry about it.

We took our 2006 V10 up Wolf Creek pass in Colorado (11,000 ft) towing our Saturn. We made it to the top doing about 25 mph. If doing it again, I'd unhook the toad and let the wife drive it to the top. The V10 will scream, but if it revs too high the computer will shut it down for a few seconds. Go for it and have great time.

Ditto---you will do just fine. I come out of three big diesels and love the Ford V-10. The tow/hall feature works as good as a grade brake on the diesels. Have a great trip!
