When parked last winter power to the slide out and switch present when uncovered and opened this spring no power to the switch and slide out is only operable manually I've checked everything that seems obvious such as fuses and relays we have any ideas please advise thank you in advance.
 
Do you have the engine running? Once, I thought my slide was messed up and it was operator error. I forgot to start the engine. Every year there is something I forget to do. Actually, as I age there are many things I forget to do.

Hello and thank you for responding. Yes tried with parking brake on and with engine running too. Last fall it was moving slow, but working. This year no light or anything at the panel. Thanks again.
 
Also, does anyone know if and or where the control module .. apparently some have a reset button on them, but I can't find it anywhere. Thank you in advance.

What kind of a slide? The mechanism may not have a control module back then. I usually follow the flow(of 12v electricity) to find the disconnected point. This can be tough sometimes. Perhaps you can look up the electrical distribution and schematic on the Winnebago site?
 
Not finding much on parts and locations but some info on which breakers and location on them.
Just behind the passenger door, looks like there should be a cover like this:

Not much info on wiring as it is often considered "chassis" and we get little help there. But I do find it shows a wiring path from breaker area to whatis called a slide ram. That ram is what moves the slide but they show no info on switch or how it fits into the wiring plan? Like where did they get to the switch as I'm sure it has to go there?

On this drawing:
We get the location of the breakers but if we look further to find the backside view, we can get Winnebago wire ID that they use on drawings and stamp on wires. That can tell us the "from" and "to" of that specific wire and may help to know if it carries battery or ground, at times.
Key to getting correct info when looing at back where ID is shown is to keep in mind we turned the panel around! What was to left is now top right when looking at back!

The two circuits here are both power as they are on the buss bar! If looing at the switch and NOT finding power, look for the ID at the end of a long string of letters/numbers for 2-3 letters like CCY, JJG, etc.!

Maybe some things to chase on how power may get to things but they have stopped posting lots of the good info we need to chase 12VDC power on our RV. UGH!
That leaves us guessing way too much!
Best guess I have is that power comes to CCY from a chassis elctrical box? But that is a different box than I spot here, so perhaps looking for a box of chassis breakers at a different location?
 
Thank you for all of your help. I will do some more investigating and check back in. The best I can describe it. I believe it's an electric screw drive one motor kwikee. I can crank it out by hand but it's tough and it takes a long time.
 
We can get some idea of how things are built at times if we look at parts drawings.

I do see this as a motor, not involving hydraulics?

Maybe a DC motor that can be reversed electrically to move in or out? That can often mean there is a switch setup to reverse the power and that might lead to wiring or switch problems and much easier to repair than actual slide parts?
Any chance you have done any model rairoad wiring on reverse switches? Same idea as you may find here. A bit of guessing withoout info to back it! My thought might be that there are two qwires going to the motor and the switches should send power to go out or reverse that power to go back in. If it will not power mve either direction, that might cut the chase down to how power should get from breaker to switch, not involving power from the switch to motor?
More guesswork than I like!!

Power has to get from the batteries at number 1 to the fuses at 2 or is it the two breakers I mentioned before? The only details are not much help but detailed at left side? No help on WHICH fuse???
But we know the power should get to 3 at the ram to turn the motor. But it also has to go through the switch at some point to control that power and I see nothing on any drawing for details of how or even where that switch is wired.
More like an Easter egg hunt? We know there is some good stuff hiding somewhere but we have no idea where!
 
Mine is a 431C, the power goes to the breaker under the passenger side first, then to a solenoid that handles the load, the switch is a low power activator of the solenoid. Different circuit. The switch most likely is handled thru the normal fuse box. The solenoid should be near the motor. But......Parking brake on, seat moved forward. Any one of these failed could stop power from flowing. Not sure about the seat forward being a thing in these. My seat is torn from past owners having it back to far. I have not tried to run it moved back....I am short.

With a serious lack of info from drawings, we have to pick up what we can. My thought was that if you find a wire Winnebago put in, look for the ID and then check the list. If lucky it may tell you that wire should come from a breaker or something like that. If no power on one that should have 12Volts, that might tell you which way to chase the problem!
The drawings for your RV do show a wire meeting on the chasis ise of the mode solenoid but then it says it goes to the hydraulic pump. So if you have electric motor instead of hydraulic, that wire is likely not on YOUR RV. Lots of options for different RV!
 
Totally understand any confusion! We are used to doing things like learnign to walk or ride a bike. RV seems more like learning how to drive, how to fix the TV and furnace and all at one time while we still have fun???

Hmm, it has one electric motor and one threaded bar underneath in the middle.
