Hello - newbie here to this forum. Retired couple, frequent South Central AK - Knik River Public Use Area, Kings River, Kesugi Ken & Seward City Campgrounds.

Picked up this rig 3 years ago and been fixing it up. Last on my fix list is this leaking part that seems to be baffling everyone I've shown it to. It's located driver's aft, between the engine radiator and side condenser. It's about 14" long and appears to have a ram inside. I've assumed it was an AC accumulator, but it seems to be leaking oil/hydraulic fluid. Or is it part of the transmission circuit to soften shifting? I have not noticed any hard shifts. Any suggestions? Thanks for the look! -Wayne

I have the same ram on my 2004 36G. That ram works in conjunction with your rear slide ram. On mine, when the slide is pulled in, I have about 3 inches of shaft showing and when the slide is out it is maybe 1/2in showing.

WOW - thanks Joe. So I was totally off track with this. And this explains why my slide/landing gear hydraulics ran dry last year and blew the control panel. Had to drive 100 miles with slideouts OUT and $3k to repair! Is there also a similar ram on the front slide? Cheers, Wayne

AND mine is a 36G as well, not 36M.
