Does anyone know how to remove the hydraulic cylinder for the bedroom slide out?
I have opened the panel under the bed and can see the slide bar, but cant figure out where the cylinder is inside of it or even how to access it.

its leaking when i try to extend it.
The ones in the super slide out were leaking the same way, i was able to remove them and take them to the hydraulic shop and have them rebuilt.
im just assuming its the same issue here

Well Sir,
I see this is your 2nd post. Too bad you're having this issue so early on. I could possibly help here, depending just how your bed room is laid out. We have an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 330HP and the "bedoom" slide is actually a closet slide. That is, the closet slides out the drivers side, not the bed. I have had the master ram of that closest slide leak three times and each time I did the repair. So far, the third time's a charm 'cause it's holding. But, let me know what your layout is and maybe I can help with the EXACT procedure for extracting that cylinder.

mine is the 35U, it appears to only have one cylinder under the bed.
I can go outside and see the end of the cylinder under the slid out, i can see the housing under the bad, but i cant figure out where the hose ends are, and how to loosen it from the end to get it out.
i took the 2 cylinders out in the super slide and repaired them fine, but the bedroom is a head scratchier.
Any help or tips would be very much appreciated

Well Sir,
You say your one and only bedroom cylinder is "under the bed", correct? May I ask, under WHAT part of the bed, the foot, the head, the side(s) where? By removing any part of the bedding, and or mattress and or mattress support like a platform, does that give you access to what's UNDER the bed?

We have an access area under the foot of our bed. When I remove the paneling cover to that access, what's revealed is a freeway of wiring, plumbing, battery cables, water lines, the back side of our 120VAC breaker panel, the backside of some of our 12VDC resettable circuit breakers and, a lower access to the base of the master ram for our bedroom slide. However, until I butchered up some flooring just below all that mess, I had to do all my work on that bedroom ram to remove it and re-install it, by BRAIL!

I could not see anything I was working on. It all was done by feel. Until you reveal your bedroom and bed layout, I don't know if your scenario is the same or at least similar to ours. Let me know and I'll guide you further if it's close to ours. Otherwise I could be writing a page or two of what you need to do for nothing.
