Anything new to replace controlling 3 sets with choice of cable, antenna, VCR/DVD, SAT?
The Razor gets 1 STAR from me.
Using the 20 year old Batwing does okay if finely tuned.
I have The Wally, the DVR, NEW DOME SAT.
Prices are too crazy for Sat. Contracts. So that stuff just sits. Never used.
Anything NEW to replace the Winegard to switch choices to TV?
Wireless even?
I do have a nice old pair of
RABBIT EARS.
THANKS

There are a number of different HDMI splitters and matrix boxes. The trick is getting the cabling to the remote TVs. There are wireless HDMI receivers but I don't know how well they work. I think you can find HDMI to COAX converters to send HDMI to your various TVs over the Coax cable already in your RV. How they work and what's the cost??? Dunno.

We had Dish Network at home for 20 years. The price went up and up and up and when it was $200 a month we said ENOUGH. We "cut the cord" as they say and went fully streaming for our TV at home. It was easy at home and not too expensive. However, it did require us to totally change how and what we watch on TV.

Right after that we bought a new RV and say NO to a Satellite dish installation. We stream 100% in the RV now, too. This way you put a cheap Roku or Amazon TV stick at each TV and watch whatever you want without any "splitter" needed.

The hard part is finding an affordable cellular data only plan that works for the amount of high speed internet you need to watch much TV. It can be done, but can also get nearly as expensive as SAT TV plans.

Good luck.

creativepart, I'm using a Verizon prepaid data plan.
It's very easy to start/stop as desired, I had to purchase the hotspot device ($80) though.
Ray, that’s a good plan but the two higher data plans are limited. The highest $100 a month plan is limited to 150 gb of high speed (tv streamable speeds). We watch TV at night from dinner to bedtime and in a month we’ll use 250+ gb.

We have both ATT and Verizon hotspots and truly unlimited data plans that are not available any longer. They can’t be stopped and started but the two combined are just $65 a month.

I didn’t think we watched that much TV, but I guess 4-hours a day plus all the iPads, iPhones and laptop computer use a lot of high speed data.

I replaced my batwing antenna with the Alfa WiFi Camp Pro 2 Long Range WiFi Repeater RV Kit, I mounted the WiFi antenna on the batwing mechanism and ran the wire into the cab by pulling it in with the old coax cable. It works as advertised!
