1999 Winnebago Vectra Hood Latch Dog Replacement

Hello All; Back again, Just opened the hood on my 1999 Vectra and found the latch dog on the left side gone. Evidently the inner nut vibrated off and the latch dog went with it. The one on the right side is still there, am I going to have to make one of these? I find No part numbers from Winnebago for this barrel latch on these hoods. I would suspect this latch was used on a number of coach's over the years. Any help? I appreciated all the help on my docking lights.

Update; I found the complete latch assembly with the help of the parts people at Lichtsinn RV in Forrest City. Since I do metal fabrication and had some 3/16" stock and the right dog as a pattern I decided to make one. It took a little over an hour and the most time consuming part was the elongated hole for the shaft. Mostly hand filing, so now I have an extra if it happens again. Tightened everything up good.

Byron; I am attaching a picture of the part with dimensions, and a couple of pictures for what/where it is and does. Remember 3/16 steel stock and slightly round the edges.
